CENTRAL FLORIDA ROADRUNNERS
DESCRIPTION

We are all about friendship, fellowship, and companionship. Centered near Orlando, we have members from a wide swath across Florida and usually hold our rallies at interesting places within 150 miles of there. A typical rally always starts with a lot of hugs, offers to help each other with problems on our rigs, swapping of stories (some of them true), and making sure we all know where and when Happy Hour convenes. We try not to ask our host couples to work too hard and all pitch in to help serve meals and set up (NON STRENUOUS) games and activities. We keep in touch between rallies and support each other in the ways of people who genuinely care about each other. We invite others to join us either for a visit or to consider becoming members. Visit our website at http://web.mac.com/jepinckney1/CFRBEEPER/CONTACTUS.html

CHALLENGERS, THE
DESCRIPTION

The Challengers are known as the "Volunteer" Chapter. We volunteer for both of the FMCA Rallies held in the South, the SEA Rally (Lakeland, FL) and the FMCA Rally (Perry, GA). We serve coffee and donuts as well as help out in other volunteer opportunities like parking and educational seminars. Both of these Rallies are fun, provide informative seminars, entertainment, and the opportunity to meet other fellow FMCA members. The Challengers hold official monthly rallies in all months where usually two couples host by planning meals, games, and trips to local attractions (except June, July, and August). We also have unofficial, unhosted rallies in June, July, and August. Each rally attracts approximately 15-25 RVs. Many of us are long-time FMCA members, but lately we have been adding newer RVers to our ranks. Most of our rallies are held at campgrounds located around a 50-mile radius of Clermont, Florida (approximately the center of the area where most of our members live). Each official rally begins on Friday and ends on Sunday morning, but some members might arrive as early as Monday. We are very fortunate to have several professional cooks as members so, needless to say, we have all gained a few pounds. And most afternoons, just to keep those pounds on, we gather for "Happy Hour" featuring snacks, drinks, and, of course, lots or friendship, and jokes!

COACHES FOR CHRIST SOUTHEAST
DESCRIPTION

Coaches for Christ is an inter-denominational ministry made up of Christians from many backgrounds. The chapters were organized to enable FMCA Christian members to combine the love of travel with their spiritual walk with Jesus. A top priority for all chapters is sponsoring the morning devotions of FMCA rallies and conventions. Coaches for Christ members are drawn to join kindred spirits in prayer, praise, fellowship, and worship.

FIRST RESPONDERS
DESCRIPTION

The First Responders Chapter is a new chapter that consists of all FMCA members who are First Responders at the Federal, State and Local Level. We are mostly based in the Southeast Area, but welcome all first responders from all areas. FLORIDA CRACKERS
DESCRIPTION

We are a friendly group of folks (both couples and singles) who enjoys getting together for fellowship, laughter, and activities at or near campgrounds within an approximate150-mile radius of Central Florida. We have a wonderful wagonmaster who is exceptional at finding us great deals. We enjoy checking out nearby entertainment and activities, playing various games, and gathering for happy hours and meal times. A crowd favorite is often our kangaroo race originated since many of our members were current or former Bounder owners. Several breakfasts and evening meals are typically included in our reasonable rally prices. Our rallies run Monday through Friday once a month from November through April. Our members live in many counties predominantly across the center of Florida so you might even find a familiar face among us. We encourage you to see if we're a good fit for you.

FLORIDA FUN SEEKERS
DESCRIPTION

The Florida Fun Seekers chapter members have a mutual interest in the location of central Florida.

FLORIDA ON SAFARI
DESCRIPTION

It is your good fortune that we have memberships available in the Florida on Safari motorhome club. This club was established in 1991 as a Safari manufacturer's club but is now open to FMCA Members, previous Safari owners, and friends of Safari owners owning any brand motorhome. We schedule 5 to 6 rallies from October through May, usually on the third weekend of the month - but the dates are the choice of the rally host. We would love to have you join us for one of these rallies. Our strong points are fellowship, fun, and good food. Contact the chapter president for more information at: trekker01@gmail.com

FLORIDA ROLL'N GATORS
DESCRIPTION

Our chapter, the Florida Roll'N Gators, draws members from the southern peninsula of Florida, with members from Ocala to Miami and Tampa to Melbourne with most of our activities held south of interstate 4 each month from October to May. Our members also coordinate caravan groups to the Tampa Super Show, the FMCA Southeastern Area Rally, and the FMCA International Conventions when they are in the Southeast. There are no initial membership fees to join us for the first three rallies that you attend, you just pay the rally and camping fees and come and meet with our group. After the second rally, you hopefully make the decision to join our chapter, but there is no pressure. It has to be a good "fit" between the members and you. We would like to invite you to enhance your FMCA membership by joining our chapter and meeting fellow members with the same RV lifestyle. Most chapter members believe that besides the fun and fellowship of the rallies themselves, it gives them the chance to get their motorhome out on the road monthly. For more information contact Joanne Kent, Membership Chairman, Email: joannekent1@outlook.com.

FLORIDA SUN COASTERS

We accept all types of FMCA-Approved Recreational Vehicles and only seek those who want to have fun and enjoy the comradeship of our chapter. We enjoy our smaller size, which is capped at forty single/family units, as we do not want to lose the feeling of having an extended family. We eat out, we cook and seek fun activities. Our official rallies are Friday night through Sunday breakfast, but many arrive Thursday and leave Monday if they are not working. Prospective members are welcome to attend a rally as our guest for the rally fee, and only pay campground fees to check us out.

FRUSTRATED MAESTROS SEA SHARPS
DESCRIPTION

Frustrated Maestros love to sing or play music. Some of us are retired from music professions, but most of us just love music and the companionship of like-minded people. We work with a basic book called the "Red Book". Array Our meetings are held each year at the Southeast Area Rally, the first week of February in Brooksville, Florida. We arrive a few days before the actual rally starts for a pre-rally. This gives a chance to practice and socialize. During the rally we perform at the four coffee hours, ice cream social, parade and pre-entertainment for the opening night of the rally. During the performances we wear a standard dress of white pants and red top or shirt. A visor or hat is awarded by FMCA to any member that attends a National Convention and participates as a Frustrated Maestros volunteer. Array SEA Sharps dues are $10 yearly. Once you are a member of one chapter you may travel and attend any Frustrated Maestro Chapter rally in the USA. There are ten Frustrated Maestros Chapters. You can check the FMCA site for each chapter contact person. Array Additional information can be found about Frustrated Maestros at www.frustratedmaestros.blogspot.com. Check the SEA tab. GEORGIA MOUNTAINEERS
DESCRIPTION

The Georgia Mountaineers is a motorhome only chapter of mostly retired folks who like to camp, enjoy the fellowship of chapter members, and get away from the everyday activities of home. We were chartered in 1993 and operate mainly in the north Georgia area, but also range into Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, and North and South Carolinas. Most of our members live in the north Georgia area from Calhoun, Ellijay, and Clayton, and down from Buchannan to Augusta to St. Simons, plus we have some members who live in the surrounding states. We rally for about four days at the end of the third week of the month, normally Wednesday to Sunday morning. We have around forty families in our group with usual attendance at our rallies, ranging from 12-20 coaches. Our rally activities include telling tall tales, eating out, shopping, antiquing, sightseeing, and playing games (mainly Fast Track and hand and Food) in the evening. We also have a few who enjoy sitting around the campfire after dinner (even in the summer months). Our rally agenda may include a cookout or potluck supper, and it usually has open periods so you may wander off at your own leisure to investigate the area. Since most of our rallies are in the north Georgia area, we get to enjoy springtime in the mountains. Our summer rallies are often much cooler than other places in the south and our October autumn rally is usually at the height of leaf peeping season. There is nothing more beautiful than the color of autumn leaves in the Smokies. Come visit with us and join in the fun!

PEACH STATE TRAVELERS
DESCRIPTION

When the Peach State Travelers get together for a rally everything is "just peachy!" The PST motor home rallies are usually held the first full weekend of each month. Our December rally includes a holiday luncheon for those who can't spend the entire weekend. We hold rallies within the state of Georgia and in closer areas of Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee. We try to keep most rallies within 150 miles of Atlanta, but we do make exceptions for special events. We plan many different types of activities during our rallies. Some rallies are busy times with trips to scenic, historical and educational sites. Some Peach State Travelers rallies are laid back with games and just sittin' back and jawin' with fellow members. The rally hosts decide what activities we participate in as a group. One thing we always do at rallies is EAT! There are many fantastic cooks in our chapter so potlucks are always a delight. We also like to try the restaurants in an area. Any Peach State Traveler can tell you where all the good restaurants are! We were formed in April 1992 in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Our chapter is relatively small. We enjoy being small because we can get to know everyone well, but we definitely are looking for new members! We come from varied backgrounds and vary in age and interests. Many of us are retired, but we have a number of members who are still part-time or full-time employed. Our rally locations and activities take that into account. Our rallies begin on Friday afternoon and end on Sunday morning. Some of us "early birds" like to start on Thursday. We would like for you to come visit one of our rallies soon. We want you to get to know the members of the PST Chapter and experience some of the variety of activities the hosts plan for the rallies. You may visit more than once and your visits don't have to be back-to-back.

ROAMIN' RIGS
DESCRIPTION

Roamin’ Rigs R.V. Club, Tampa Bay Florida FMCA Chapter was founded in 1990 and is for RV & fifth wheel owners that reside in and around the Tampa Bay FL area. At our rallies we enjoy trying out new RV Parks, spending time together, and sharing meals. Rally programs vary from relaxing and sharing travel “tales” to other activities such as beanbag baseball, shuffleboard, Skipbo, Mexican Train, visits to local sights and more. Participation in all activities is voluntary but contagious. Members always have time to share technical advice and travel experiences. Meals and activities are determined by our monthly hosts. Members are outgoing and friendly and seem to be in the 50+ age range. While several members have pets that attend the rallies as well, most members are empty nesters. Our current membership numbers overwhelm local hosting sites so new membership applications are not being considered at this point in time. If you would like to be added to our waiting list, please send an email with your contact information to and put "RR Waiting List" in the subject line. All other emails will be disregarded.

Hats are optional, but many members show off creative headwear. If you enjoy meeting new friends, having a good time and supporting charities to help women and children, this chapter is for you! Yearly dues are $5 a year.

ROLL'N REBELS
DESCRIPTION

The Roll'n Rebels take pride in the fact we are the original Southeast Area Chapter of FMCA. We have been an ongoing, active chapter since 1968 and have enjoyed participation in the Southeast Area organization since its inception. As a chapter, we meet once a month on the third weekend of the month from October through May. We have a Wagon Master who selects the sites for our monthly gathering volunteer hosts who are free to plan all activities and meals. Typically, several members arrive at the rally site as early birds and go out to dinner together, somewhere in the area. Friday usually starts with get reacquainted hour as everyone has arrived by Friday afternoon. At this point the hosts can determine what happens. It may be potluck supper (usually is) or another eat out or dinner on your own. Saturday starts with breakfast and moves on to day trips or games, again, up to the hosts. Lunch is on your own, as a rule. You may find us in a club house in the evening, playing card games, dominoes, etc. Saturdays start with breakfast and on to the day's activities. It might be a rousing Bocci Ball tournament, Bean Bag Baseball, or a trip somewhere - whatever everyone wishes to do. Saturday dinner is possibly catered, cooked by hosts and friends, or eat out. Every day has a slot for Happy Hour Bottom line is we have fun, and welcome new members to come check us out. We go to private campgrounds in the central Florida area most of the time. Sometimes we may go to a State Park or boondock at the Pumpkin Festival in Bradenton in October. We also make use of the camping facilities at the Hernando County Airport Southeast Area site. You ‘all come!!

SAND DOLLARS
DESCRIPTION

The Sand Dollars are a group of diverse background RVers who enjoy traveling mainly within Florida to be exposed to many and enjoy various locations and attractions -- often away from their home area. We differ from most Chapters in that we require our members, after their first year in our Club, to share in being hosts and co-hosts for monthly 3-6 day rallies during the months of October through April. Because of the sharing in the planning and hosting of rallies, we have experienced state parks and 5- Star private parks as well as dry camping on members' properties. We visited small, quaint country towns as well as enjoying activities in larger cities. In recent years we have toured an Arabian horse farm, the Crime Lab in Valdosta GA, the Full Circle Dairy in Lee FL, the Guardian Center in Perry GA, the Tarpon Springs Sponge Museum with a sponge diving demonstration on a boat tour. We went to the Mote Marine Aquarium in Sarasota, the Championship Rodeo in Arcadia, and the Christmas Light Show at Suwannee River Music Park. We don't have rules for what is expected at our rallies -- some hosts like to prepare meals, some like to have catered or potluck meals, others prefer restaurants, and some do a little of each. Evening games may include cards, dominos, charades, or original games - or you can just relax or turn in early at your coach. If you enjoy a variety of personalities, backgrounds, RVing experiences, rally activities, and would like to host your own rally every few years, we invite you to be a guest at one of our rallies and get to know us better. If there is a fit, we look forward to having you join us as a member of our Chapter.

SANDPIPERS
DESCRIPTION

The Sandpipers Chapter of FMCA was formed several years ago in June of 1994. There were 32 original founding members, one of which was past President of FMCA National Dottie Peirce who was instrumental in putting this chapter together. On the first full weekend of each month we have a chapter rally at different locations and RV parks in central Florida. The rallies are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We have always been a very social oriented group that mostly just enjoys each others company. Many members arrive a day or two early simply for visiting and sharing experiences. We are made up of diverse personal backgrounds and coaches that are held together by a common thread of fun, fellowship and the RV life style. Russell Cole F# 43, now deceased, was among the founders of FMCA and was a charter member of the Sandpipers. Russ was present at the founding of FMCA in Hinckley Maine way back in the early 60's. He had many interesting stories of past times and we are proud to have known him. The membership has reached 60 plus coaches. Not too large to make it difficult to find campgrounds that can accommodate us but large enough to have a nice group for social hours and meals. We invite others with the same interests to join the Sandpipers for fun and fellowship.

SE HAPPY PEOPLE
DESCRIPTION

The SE Happy People chapter members are a regional group located in FMCA's Southeast Area.

SOUTHEAST BUS NUTS
DESCRIPTION

We're Nuts About Buses - This Chapter of FMCA was chartered in 1989 by and for folks who own bus conversions. And what's a bus conversion, you might ask? It is an intercity or transit coach (e.g., a passenger bus, like a Greyhound) that has been converted to a custom motor home. These do-it-your-own-way recreational vehicles are each one-of-a kind, and chapter members enjoy the special camaraderie that comes from sharing the unique challenges that one can encounter with a bus conversion! The Southeast Bus Nuts Chapter has four rallies each year - a Valentine's Rally; a Spring Rally (usually late March or April); a Halloween Rally; and a New Year's Rally. Most of the rallies take place within Florida and Georgia, but rallies have also been held as far afield as North Carolina. But no matter where, we always have fun and fellowship! Initial costs to join is $40.00 - for 2 name badges and 1 year membership. If you only need 1 name badge the cost is $30.00. Renewal dues are $15.00.

SUN ROAMERS OF FLORIDA
DESCRIPTION

Would you like to spend a few days a month with others who enjoy camping the RV way? The Sun Roamers of Florida chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association was founded in 1984. We hold rallies the first full weekend each month from October through May at various RV Parks in central Florida. We’re pretty laid back and casual. We socialize, have great food, play games, and sometimes enjoy local attractions but the focus is on relaxing so there’s always free time to explore or do your own thing. Two member couples typically host each rally. They provide a full breakfast on Saturday, the main course for Saturday dinner (with attendees contributing side dishes and desserts) and a continental breakfast on Sunday as everyone prepares to leave. Hosted meals are in the park club house. Those who arrive on Thursday gather for Attitude Adjustment time (aka Happy Hour) near a member coach. Everyone brings chairs, their own refreshments and snacks to share. Happy Hour on Fridays involves a light potluck supper instead of just snack food. Happy Hour on Saturday is back to snacks before dinner. Lunches are on your own. You get to enjoy all this great food for a rally fee of just $40 per couple ($20 for a single). If this sounds appealing, call or e-mail us to learn more. We look forward to hearing from you. Sun Roamers of Florida - (863) 223-3228 - Sun.Roamers.FL@gmail.com

SUN WHEELERS
DESCRIPTION

The Sunwheelers became a chapter in the FMCA in 1974. We are made up of campers that like to have fun. Our demographic center is Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. We meet once a month with the exception of July and August. Rallies are normally the 2nd weekend of the month and are scheduled at locations 125-175 miles from Jacksonville, FL. However, there are exceptions to the rule. Our rallies are held on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and end after breakfast on Sunday morning. Thursday is for setting up and sitting outside in our lawn chairs to catch up with one another. On Friday mornings (weather permitting), golfers take off for a round of golf. The rest of the group may attend an organized luncheon/event, do a little sight-seeing, and/or work a puzzle. Then, we all join back together at 3 p.m. for Happy Hour and go out to dinner that evening. Saturday morning breakfast is served by our volunteer weekend host/hostess. The group may meet up after 10 a.m. to have a corn hole tournament, play bingo, puzzle or play cards. Happy Hour is at 3 p.m. Dinner is served by our volunteer host/hostess with everyone bringing a side dish or dessert. Then, sometimes a short business meeting will follow dinner. The Sunwheelers will close the evening with card playing, puzzling, or sitting around a good old campfire socializing or playing trivia. On Sunday morning, a continental breakfast is served by our volunteer host/hostess. One thing for sure, you will never go away hungry. Also, we have activities throughout the year that support designated charities. The friends you make will become lifelong friends. Sometimes, we think the weekends are just not long enough. If you would like to experience a weekend as a Sunwheeler, please contact me at the information listed below. It is our policy to require prospective members to attend 2 rallies in their RV before submitting their application to join the Sunwheelers.

SUWANNEE VALLEY VAGABONDS
DESCRIPTION

The Suwannee Valley Vagabonds chapter was started in 1990 and we have been having fun ever since. We are a north-central Florida chapter that holds monthly weekend rallies from September through May, usually the second weekend of the month. Our reservations/confirmations are required two weeks in advance for planning purposes and many campgrounds require that as well. Our interests are social, eating, shopping, outdoor/indoor games, cards and board games. If there is a local activity going on we may include it. Our typical weekend rally starts on Friday, with some arrivals earlier than that as a personal preference. As we arrive there is social time, and dinner at a local restaurant on Friday night. Saturday breakfast is provided by the hosts for the weekend, followed by business or announcements. Saturday evening dinner is usually a pot luck meal with the hosts providing the meat. We do love to eat. Saturday evening is game and social time. Sunday morning is continental breakfast by the hosts and saying goodbye for another month. We think you will like our group of friendly people. Come and see for yourself.
