We typically camp 8-10 times a year from Thursday through Sunday since we still have a few members looking forward to retirement. Although we primarily camp in South Carolina we also occasionally camp at locations near us in Georgia, and North Carolina. Our initial membership is primarily drawn from the Midlands area of South Carolina, but we accept eligible FMCA members from both within and outside the boundaries of the state of South Carolina. Guests are always welcome, however, after the second or third visit we will likely encourage you to join us as members.

There are no members with young children, but grandchildren are always welcome. Information about the chapter is published on our website – www.Carolinapelicans.com. We have 4 rallies a year, usually in April, June, October and a Christmas rally in December. Typically, chapter rallies include 3 breakfasts, a first night get-together with snacks. Dinner out as a group on one evening when possible. Last evening is usually a potluck dinner with the chapter providing the main entrée. Rally fees are $35.00. A business meeting is held on the last full day morning after breakfast. Members may purchase shirts, hats, visors and a banner with the chapter logo when available. We think of ourselves as a group of friendly, mostly retired, RVers who enjoy just relaxing and enjoying life’s simple pleasures together. Once a year we enjoy doing volunteer work at GEAR (Great Eastern Area Rally) and national rallies as a group. A great deal of help and information to other RVers is always available from the group. Now, our members include the Maryland Counties of Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, Howard, Prince George's, St. Mary's, the state of Virginia and a few full-time nomads. GEORGIA MOUNTAINEERS
DESCRIPTION

The Georgia Mountaineers is a motorhome only chapter of mostly retired folks who like to camp, enjoy the fellowship of chapter members, and get away from the everyday activities of home. We were chartered in 1993 and operate mainly in the north Georgia area, but also range into Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, and North and South Carolinas. Most of our members live in the north Georgia area from Calhoun, Ellijay, and Clayton, and down from Buchannan to Augusta to St. Simons, plus we have some members who live in the surrounding states. We rally for about four days at the end of the third week of the month, normally Wednesday to Sunday morning. We have around forty families in our group with usual attendance at our rallies, ranging from 12-20 coaches. Our rally activities include telling tall tales, eating out, shopping, antiquing, sightseeing, and playing games (mainly Fast Track and Hand and Foot) in the evening. We also have a few who enjoy sitting around the campfire after dinner (even in the summer months). Our rally agenda may include a cookout or potluck supper, and it usually has open periods so you may wander off at your own leisure to investigate the area. Since most of our rallies are in the north Georgia area, we get to enjoy springtime in the mountains. Our summer rallies are often much cooler than other places in the south and our October autumn rally is usually at the height of leaf peeping season. There is nothing more beautiful than the color of autumn leaves in the Smokies. Come visit with us and join in the fun!

SOUTHEAST BUS NUTS
DESCRIPTION

We're Nuts About Buses - This Chapter of FMCA was chartered in 1989 by and for folks who own bus conversions. And what's a bus conversion, you might ask? It is an intercity or transit coach (e.g., a passenger bus, like a Greyhound) that has been converted to a custom motor home. These do-it-your-own-way recreational vehicles are each one-of-a kind, and chapter members enjoy the special camaraderie that comes from sharing the unique challenges that one can encounter with a bus conversion! The Southeast Bus Nuts Chapter has four rallies each year - a Valentine's Rally; a Spring Rally (usually late March or April); a Halloween Rally; and a New Year's Rally. Most of the rallies take place within Florida and Georgia, but rallies have also been held as far afield as North Carolina. But no matter where, we always have fun and fellowship! Initial costs to join is $40.00 - for 2 name badges and 1 year membership. If you only need 1 name badge the cost is $30.00. Renewal dues are $15.00.

TIFFIN TRAVELERS
DESCRIPTION

The Tiffin Travelers Chapter, founded in 2009, is for owners of Tiffin brand motorhomes (now also including Class A, B, C models, and 5th wheels). Although organized in FMCA's Eastern area, our chapter's membership and activities are not constrained by geography. Most of our member coaches are spread throughout the states east of the Mississippi, from Canada to Florida and every state between. We have rallies wherever our members want to convene for rallies and we strive to spread those rallies throughout the states we live in. Our rallies are usually destination rallies - we travel to locations of interest for exploring history or culture, dining, sightseeing and fun as a group. Although we are not directly affiliated with the Allegro Club and Tiffin RVNetwork (TRVN), most of us are also members in those groups. First year dues and initiation is $22. Subsequent renewals are only $12 and members can recoup that and more by attending our rallies. Membership has its privileges. Read more about us, our activities and how to enroll on our website: www.tiffintravelers.info.
